55th anniversary Dutch Volvo 480 Enthusiasts Club. Upon cordial
invitation, held at the premises of the Dutch Volvo import organisation
Volvo Nederland B.V. in Beesd, the Netherlands. Guest of honour was
mr. Rob Koch, chief of the styling department responsible for the
styling and design of the Volvo 480 and honorary member of the Volvo
480 Enthusiasts Club. The club was given an official scale model of
the Volvo 480. |

Tour through the Veluwe in the central part of the Netherlands,
including a visit to century old castle Cannenburgh. The tour was
organized by member mr. Jan Esselink. |

Tour through the worldfamous bulbfields in the province of South-Holland,
together with the Dutch Volvo 1800 ES Register. Organization was by
mrs. Tiny Labrujere. |

Annual general member meeting. Followed by a tour in Brabant, a
province in the southern part of the Netherlands. This day was organized
by messrs. John Asbreuk (chairman of the club) and Frank van Gurp.(Note
by translator: seriously, Asbreuk litterally translates into Axebreakdown.
Must be a non-typical name). |

August |
Belgian meeting. Together with other Volvo clubs, several days of
Volvo excitement. Organized by member mr. Robbert Jan Veraa, who is
also member of some other Volvo clubs. |

The well reputed traditional weekend of classic Volvo clubs in Rosmalen,
the Netherlands, at the Autotron premises. Of course we were there. |

The annual puzzle tour, this time organized by mr. Maurice Lamers.
Start and finish was at the natal ground of the Volvo 480: the Nedcar
production plant in Born, the Netherlands. |

Well prepared for winter, the motto of our annual tuning day. We
were welcomed by the Volvo dealer in Tiel. |
